Like finding this spooky study coining the term spikeopathy, which lays out a dubious case that spike proteins from vaccines might be as bad as spike proteins in infections. During active infection, viral replication produces overwhelming quantities of spike proteins continuously until the immune system gains control or the infection proves too much to contain. Claims of prolonged spike protein persistence sometimes conflate immunological memory with antigen persistence, as if sustained antibodies indicate sustained spike in our bodies. Vaccine spike proteins mostly remain cellular prisoners, providing immune system training with minimal systemic exposure. Viral spike proteinsThe pathogenicity of SARS-CoV-2’s spike protein is scientifically indisputable. Evidence also suggests persistent viral spike proteins may contribute to Long Covid syndromes, or be the primary mechanism of disease in a subset of patients. Its all really quite freakish. But this study had multiple limitations in trying to prove this S1 spike fragment was from vaccination instead of infection.
